Description

Ethically crafted from natural fibers and vegetable dyes, each of these cactus silk pillows represents days of work and generations of skill passed from mother to daughter. Just outside of Marrakech, a remarkable group of women transform the natural fibers of desert agave into beautiful silken thread using time-honored methods. The hand-spun thread is then masterfully woven on family looms and embroidered with traditional motifs. Through their weaving, these women are redefining traditional gender roles and finding financial independence.

Please note that size, color and design will vary slightly between each item (as shown in last photo). Pillow cover measures 18x18” with zipper closure. Dry clean only. Pillow insert sold separately here. Ethically crafted in Morocco.

Shipping

We’re pleased to offer free standard shipping on all items for orders over $50 to the contiguous USA. Please note that this offer does not apply to shoes, baby products, or maternity items.
